Shawarma lovers unite! The Neighbourhood Foundation’s recent Shawarma Challenge was a mouthwatering success! On October 23rd, City Square Cafeteria in Egmore buzzed with excitement as over 150 participants raced to devour shawarmas in record time.
The Save Food Save Life Campaign:
The SAVE FOOD SAVE LIFE CAMPAIGN, in collaboration with Dwaraka Doss Goverdhan Doss Vaishnav College, is making waves. This powerful initiative engaged 250 students, igniting a passion for mindful eating and food conservation.The campaign’s success is evident: 128 students have already enrolled as volunteers for the Neighbourhood Foundation, ready to make a difference.
On International Coffee Day, we brewed up something special!
Neighbourhood Foundation, in collaboration with Madras Coffee House, honored Chennai’s unsung heroes – our frontline sanitary workers. We served 100 free cups of coffee to sweepers, rag pickers, cleaners, and manual scavengers around Alandur, Saidapet, and Guindy.
