In a country where millions go to bed hungry every night, We dared to dream of a nation without hunger. The vision? To mobilize resources and provide life-changing aid to India’s most vulnerable populations, including both humans and animals.
The Challenge: A Nation’s Empty Plates
India, despite its rapid economic growth, still grapples with widespread hunger. Millions of homeless people and stray animals struggle to find even a single meal a day. We recognized that traditional approaches weren’t enough. They needed an innovative solution that could capture hearts, inspire action, and generate sustainable resources.
A Stroke of Genius: The “Feed by Art” Initiative
In a brilliant fusion of creativity and compassion, we launched “Feed by Art” – India’s Largest Art Competition 2021. This groundbreaking initiative aimed to:
- Raise funds for feeding programs
- Engage children in the fight against hunger
- Raise awareness about food insecurity
Bringing the Vision to Life
The competition was strategically scheduled for October 16, 2021 – World Food Day. This timing amplified its impact and relevance. Here’s how it worked:
Open Call: Children from across India were invited to participate
Creative Freedom: Young artists could express their thoughts on hunger and food through their artwork
Registration Fee: A nominal fee was charged, with all proceeds going directly to feeding programs
Massive Scale: The event aimed to be the largest of its kind in India
